Hide and Go Seek in the Dark!

The Great Turkey Mix- up!
So that's what happened! There is also another little boy named Braden ( with an I ) in the morning class. When the first Turkey craft was sent home I was a little surprised at the things Brady listed as being thankful for.. However, today in his backpack was the real turkey waiting to be discovered! The great Turkey Mix-up 2009 is solved.. and now for Brady's list of what he is thankful for! Me, Logan, Owen, Mommy, Daddy and my dog!!

Who are you calling a Turkey?!
Thanksgiving 2009 overall was fun! We ate a lot, talked a lot and ate some more...and now the boys are on their way to their Grandma's house to stay for a few days :-) Just in time for me to get things situated for the Holidays. Happy Thanksgiving!!

The fun of it all...
Logan grabbed a full yogurt off of the table and had a B-L-A-S-T with it! Of course Owen and Brady could NOT stop laughing.. I've never seen them so worked up... and of course that egged Logan on to do more of his "fast feet dancing" in the yogurt... looks like I have another messy boy on my hands!!

Owen's doctor's appt.
Owen was so brave at his 5th year check up today. He was a little scared of getting shots ( he had to get 3) but did a great job. He wanted to pose for a shot with his snoopy band aids to show everyone how brave he is! lol.

Daddy and Logan
HANG On!!
I don't think it has to be Father's day to let the world know what an AWESOME father my hubby is to our kids. Not only does he play with them every night after long days at the office. But he helps with bath time, bed time stories and put them to bed as well!The boys favorite part of the day is when they get to race daddy home from work! They line up at the neighbor's tree a good 35 mins before their daddy gets home and when they see his truck pull up to the mailbox you'd think it was Christmas Eve! When he finally pulls in the drive way from the "Big Race" Logan goes nutty for him as well!! Squealing and bouncing just to jump out of my arms and into his daddy's :-) I'm a lucky girl!

Zoo 2009
I just can't believe in 4 months Logan is going to be a year old already. At 8 months he is doing things so quickly now! Waving goodbye, looking when we say his name, playing patty cake and self-feeding!! (among many many other things) It's so amazing watching him grow and change. He is becoming quite the little man. I feel blessed that I able to stay at home at watch my little guys grow. They change so fast that for me it was a no-brainer to give them all of the love and attention that they require now to set them up for hopefully, a life filled with love, the courage to be who they want to be and the desire to change what is needed.

So we decided to have an Happy Un-Birthday party! The boys loved it.. we made homemade pizzas ( from scratch the crust was so delish.. that's right Tim I said delish.,. there I said it again!!!!). We made our cakes and frosting from scratch. We also, made decorations and pretend presents for each other. It took the whole day to have our party. We didn't wind down until 830pm. But it was worth it. We had a blast. I recommend having one if you have the time and energy!!! :-)

Girls night out!
Wow! Girls night out! What a night. I haven't seen my dear friends Rachel and Jenny for 10 years.. that's right...so finally after 10 years we had a reunion. ( I talk to april several times a week but it was great actually seeing her!! ) It was awesome! 5 1/2 hours later, a few drinks later, lol, and we finally got semi-caught up on each others lives and reminiscing about the past!

Date night!!
Date night with my favorite guy finally happened thanks to my bff Kathryn.
So Kathryn was supposed to get here at 630pm to watch the boys so we could go see the new HP flick. Tim happened to go outside around that time to grab something out of the barn so of course when our front door started to open and I being right behind it got the brilliant idea to jump out and yell boooooooooo at him.... only it wasn't Tim... it was Kathryn and I scared the crap out of both of us...lol.... with a bewildered Tim standing behind Kathryn!! I about died! It was hilarious!! So date night got off to a loud and fun start! HP was fantastic. Our date was fantastic and I can't wait to do it again soon!!! xoxo

Summer 2009
We have had an excellent summer so far! All the things that boys this age should be doing we have done! Dig in the dirt. Check. Play in the sand. Check. Plant their own gardens. Check. Play in the hose. Check. I could go on all day. My point, however, is that it is rare in this day in age to be young and outdoors. I want to make sure that all of our future summers are spent 90% outside, enjoying nature and imagination! This picture is from one of many play dates that we've been on this summer.
Family Ties
My older brother Mike and his family came over yesterday to celebrate Owen's birthday. We were supposed to go to a park for a picnic but it rain. All. Day. So we stayed in and the kids ran outside when there was a break in rain. And would run back in when it started raining again. We also have the barn so they were able to play in there too! This pic is towards the end of they day. You can tell the kids have a blast together. There was some serious SuperHero playing all day. Frankie is not in this picture because he didn't want to be. Ha! He prefers playing indoors where it's clean and dry! I agree! Overall it was a very nice and relaxing day spent with family! The best kind of days!!

The Wonder Pets!
The boys love being around Logan. They play with him, lay with him, have snack time with him and nooooooow want him to watch t.v. with them! Of course he gets to watch a little bit now and then... Wonder Pets are a favorite in our house and Logan seems to be thrilled with it! He laughs when the boys laugh.. :-) Owen said they are all best pals!! He makes my heart melt!!
Happy 4th of July 2009
Happy 4th!! It's Logan's first 4th of July :-) We had a nice, and relaxing day. To wrap up the day we went to the Worthington Hills Country Club for fireworks. Logan did not appreciate the big booms. So we headed back home to watch the grand finale on our back deck, (lol) while Logan was sleeping soundly in bed! haha.

Lighting Bugs
After such an exciting day of comic books and garage sales we decided that the day wasn't truly over until we caught lighting bugs. They caught 11 :-)

Hi all! We've decided it's time to get this blog going. I've had it since 2007 ( I know, I know) and realized the other day that it is definitely time to get posting now that we have 3 boys and lots of crazy fun EVERY day. Yesterday morning ( at 9am) we went to Half Priced Books to stock up on comics for the boys since they were having a 50% off sale. Yesterday was all about comics and super heros...we went to a neighborhood garage sale that had 60 + people participating. It was a lot of fun. I think the boys were overwhelmed with all of the super hero items they were able to score. One particular family has boys in their pre-teens and their mom was the sweetest thing. She actually went into her house and found more super hero items to give to the boys. 10 pairs of clothing, 2 complete batman costumes, 1 spiderman costume, 2 super hero buckets, a box of books, a carseat and a lot of fun super hero gadgets! S-C-O-R-E !
